Who we are
This website is run by Alteus Labs, a California LLC and a Narova Studios company. When this notice says “we”, it means Alteus Labs.
What we collect
The site has no accounts and no forms. We collect two things:
- Usage analytics. Google Analytics 4 measures which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive (the referring site), their approximate location (country and region), their device and browser type, and a few clicks we treat as outcomes: opening one of our products, visiting 23Bit Studio, following another link off the site, and selecting our email address.
- Email you send us. If you write to us, we receive your address and your message, and use them only to reply.
We do not sell personal information, share it for advertising, or use it to build advertising profiles. The site shows no ads.
How analytics works here
Google Analytics is loaded through Cloudflare Zaraz, which runs it on Cloudflare’s servers rather than in your browser. Your full IP address is not passed to Google. Measurements are stored in first-party cookies on this site so that visits can be counted over time.
Google Analytics keeps event-level data for two months, its default retention period; aggregated reports are kept longer.
Cookies and your choices
Visitors in the European Union, the wider European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked first: analytics runs only after you accept, and nothing is measured if you decline. Elsewhere, analytics is on by default and you can turn it off at any time.
Either way, open cookie settings to change your choice; the link is also at the foot of every page. Your choice is stored in a cookie named cf_consent. Blocking or deleting cookies in your browser also stops analytics.
Hosting
Cloudflare hosts and delivers this site. To do that securely, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses, under its own privacy policy.
Your rights
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent for analytics at any time. Write to hello@alteuslabs.io.
If you are in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, data protection law also gives you the right to object to or restrict processing, to receive your data in a portable form, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Our legal basis for analytics is your consent.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know, correct and delete personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for using these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as California law defines those terms.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If what we collect changes, we will update this notice and the date at the top.
